About Us
Ministry of Minority thrives to take initiatives for the holistic socio-economic development of the 6 notified minority communities. In line to this, Ministry has developed this SAMIP (Scholarship Alumni Management & Information Portal) portal for the beneficiaries of Scholarship Schemes of the Ministry. As the literary meaning of word SAMIP as Hindi word समीप means ‘close/ near’, this portal is an attempt to bring the Scholarship beneficiaries more close to other schemes/ benefits of the government through convergence. This portal is not only an attempt to understand the present status of the beneficiaries but also provides them with the opportunities to understand and choose career path including Skill Development, Entrepreneurship, career guidance, credit linkages.
